We aim to achieve this objective by:
- Educating people on the effects of these substances on personal health and well-being.
- Urging people to adopt a responsible approach to alcohol use by exercising moderation and being aware of the adverse effects of over use.
- Encouraging after work leisure activities that promote a healthy lifestyle free of alcohol and other harmful drugs.
- Enforcing strict disciplinary procedures to those who are found reporting to work under the influence of alcohol or a prohibited drug, or consuming alcohol or prohibited drugs whilst at work.
- Identifying problems, which contribute to substance abuse and seeking appropriate solutions to prevent their recurrence.
- All Bostech Drilling Australia staff, as a condition of employment, will have to undergo a standard drug test when they are employed and before being sent to site.
- Any Bostech Drilling Australia staff member who is deemed unfit for work will not be permitted on site.
It is Bostech Drilling Australia’s policy to adhere to the Drug & Alcohol Policy instituted by the Client company/mine site, with regards to all aspects of Drug and Alcohol policy.
