Bostech Drilling Australia maintains training for all staff throughout their career and conforms to all Clients requested training, including:
- Mine Workers Health and Safety Inductions
- Senior First Aid
- External Four Wheel Drive training
- External Incident Investigation training
- Toolbox and Safety Meetings
- Ongoing driller training (i.e. “Trainee Drillers Log Book”) and evaluation of safety, proficiency through use of “Offsider and Driller Assessment” forms. See Appendix A, B and C
- Bostech and Client, Work Site Inductions. Bostech Employee Rig Induction and Client/Visitor Induction forms for all personnel working within the worksite
- To have drill crews participate in Cross Cultural Training as recommended by the Client
As part of Bostech’s commitment to ongoing training and improving the skills base of our employees we have implemented the range of DRT Certificates in Drilling Operations. These certificates are nationally recognised and they consist of:
1. Certificate II in Drilling Operations - A 12 month course for Offsiders who show potential to become drillers.
2. Certificate III in Drilling Operations - An 18 month course for Drillers.
3. Certificate IV in Drilling Operations - A 12 month course for Drilling Supervisors.
